Overview
This page explains what happens to the details you send through the contact form, and what the site's optional analytics record if you accept them. Nothing else on this site collects information about you.
What The Form Collects
The contact form asks for your name, your email address, and a description of your project. Your phone number and how you found the studio are both optional. Nothing else is collected.
How It Is Delivered
Submissions are processed by Formspree, a third-party form service, which delivers them to WhittWorks Studios as a plain email. Formspree's own privacy policy is at formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy.
How It Is Used
Your details are used only to respond to your inquiry. Nothing you submit is sold, shared with advertisers, or used for marketing of any kind.
What Your Browser Stores
Strictly speaking this site sets no cookies: it keeps three small values in your own browser, plus two more only if you accept analytics cookies. We call those two "analytics cookies" because they do the same job. The first three are never sent anywhere, none are readable by another site, and none identify you.
The first records whether you chose the cork board or the plain text version. It is kept for that tab only and is discarded the moment you close it.
The second records that you have already seen the welcome panel, so it does not reappear on every visit. It stays until you clear your browser data.
The third records your answer to the analytics question. It also stays until you clear your browser data, or until you change it from the Help button on the home page.
If you accept analytics cookies, two more are added: a random ID that stays until you reject analytics cookies or clear your browser data, and a visit ID that is discarded when you close the tab. Rejecting them deletes both.
Analytics Cookies, Only If You Accept Them
Analytics cookies are off until you choose Accept analytics cookies, either in the welcome panel on the cork board or in the cookie banner at the top of the plain text version. If you never answer, or choose Reject analytics cookies, nothing is recorded and nothing is sent.
If you accept them, the site sends a few anonymous events to PostHog, an analytics service hosted in the United States: which page you opened and the site that linked you there, which sections of the board you clicked or jumped to, whether you started and sent the contact form (never what you typed in it), and page-speed measurements. Each event carries a random ID stored in your browser and your screen size. No name, email, or form content is ever included, and no advertising cookies are set. PostHog's own privacy policy is at posthog.com/privacy.
You can change your answer at any time from the Help button on the board or the Cookie settings link at the bottom of the plain text page. Rejecting them stops all analytics at once and deletes the random ID.
Requesting Deletion
